How dare he say I ripped him off, he got his money from paypal (so if he got ripped off, then it must be paypal or eBay's fault). Why would he send me the item if he wasn't paid for it or if I scammed him? Why would he wait almost a month after the sale to accuse me of this, about 2 weeks after I received the item? My paypal account shows he got the money, THIS IS ILLEGAL SLANDER he posted on my EBAY FEEDBACK (he lied because I gave a negative reply of "60GB PVR DOESN'T PLAY DIVX, MPEG, XVID LIKE DESCRIBED, PLAYS ASF/MP3/JPG ONLY" on his FEEDBACK after I tried to resolve the issue since I bought the unit over a month ago!

I'm not sure how you can say our auction wasn't as described when there is a CLEAR picture at the top that CLEARLY states PLAYS XVID AND DIVX WITH CONVERSION SOFTWARE. Nevertheless, you have chosen to leave your negative comment which has resulted in us leaving you a negative comment. If you would like to have your rating back up to 100%, let me know and we can both mutually agree to withdraw the comments, or just go ahead and send me a mutual withdrawal.

 UPDATE DEC 15th, 2006: Pay Pal had us ship the item back as we were able to prove that the player does not play files listed (showed them links to manufacturer's website and user manuals). We are awaiting the outcome and hoping that BuyAnything.ca refunds our money without more problems (IN SIMILAR ISSUES WE HAVE HAD IN THE PAST, pAYpAL FORCED REFUND FOR US) so all these things (like this page) can disappear. THE PRODUCT WAS SHIPPED BACK WITHOUT "SAFETY SEAL" BROKEN ON THE BOX OPENING, SHOULD BE EASY FOR THE SELLER TO RESELL ITEM.   ANOTHER UPDATE: WE GOT OUR REFUND THROUGH PAYPAL, BUT BUYANYTHING.CA STILL REFUSED!

Even when he sent a request (VIA EBAY) for removal of comments, this was another scam. All this does is remo0ve the negative points to his Power Sellor status and my points, yet the slander still exists. When I told ebay about the slander, they told me without a court order, they will not remove any comments whatsoever.
